Common mistakes
- Uploading a photo of a signature with the paper still grey.
- Clean the scan first. White paper compresses much smaller than grey paper.
- Signing with a thin pen.
- A thin line disappears at small sizes. A darker, thicker pen survives compression.
- Cropping too tight, cutting the ends off.
- Leave a small margin around the signature so nothing is clipped.
