Terms of use
Last updated 19 September 2026
These tools are free for personal, non-commercial use, with no account. They are provided as they are, and we cannot promise that any particular website will accept a file you make with them.
Using the tools
You may use these tools free of charge for personal, non-commercial purposes, such as preparing your own application or helping family and friends with theirs without charging for it. Use them as often as you like, with no registration or attribution.
Commercial use needs our written permission first. That includes using the tools as part of a paid service, such as preparing other people's files for a fee, or inside a business. Write to us from the contact page and we will reply.
You are responsible for the files you process and for having the right to process them.
What we do not promise
We cannot promise that a portal, exam body or government department will accept a file. We tell you precisely what your file is and precisely what we changed; the organisation receiving it decides whether it meets their requirements. Requirements also change without notice, and an official notification is always the authority, not this site.
We also do not promise the site will be available at all times, or that a tool will handle every possible file. Some files are damaged, unusual or simply too large for a phone to process.
Keep your originals
Always keep the original file until you have confirmed your upload was accepted. These tools produce a new file and never modify or delete your original, but a compressed file has lost detail permanently and cannot be turned back into the original.
Liability
The tools are provided without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using them, including a missed deadline or a rejected application. Given that this is a free tool with no account and no payment, please treat it as a helpful utility rather than a guarantee, and check your uploads.
Acceptable use
Do not use these tools to alter documents in order to deceive anyone. Changing the size or format of your own photograph so that it fits an upload box is exactly what this site is for. Altering the content of an official document is not, and may be a criminal offence.
Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top of this page shows when they last did.
