Convert PNG to JPG
Add your PNG below and it is converted into a genuine JPG, not just a renamed file. See-through areas are filled with white rather than black, which is the usual reason a converted signature turns into a dark block.
It is opened on this device. Nothing is uploaded, and nothing is stored.
How to do it
- Choose your PNG in the box above.
- It is re-encoded as a JPG straight away.
- Check the result panel: it names the format the file actually is now.
- Tap Download.
Common mistakes
- Renaming the file from .png to .jpg.
- That changes the name, not the file. Portals check the bytes and reject it. This tool re-encodes it properly.
- Converting a transparent PNG carelessly.
- JPG has no transparency. Filled with black, a signature becomes a black rectangle. This tool fills with white.
- Converting a screenshot instead of the original.
- A screenshot is lower quality and the wrong size. Use the original file.
